Hi I have downloaded a movie which have an extension .avi
i also have Klite codec pack installed but my avi file is giving
Media player error and a very long code that im not understanding...
can someone help me out??

hi nisha as you said you already have klite codec pack installed and still you are not able to play avi files.

Try playing that movie again through klite codec - classic media player
and when you again get the message of error just ignore it and come to the window of media player
click View > options (this will open the player options.)
After this go to Internal filters column and check (put a tick mark over) the AVI extension and press the apply button afterwards.

Hope this will remove your problem.

if ur using window xp, then download the xp codec pack, it includes all the formats of audio as well as vedio. which our players needed.
