Emami has organized a contest for choosing the most handsome man- Mr.Handsome contest. That splendid contest held at Mumbai on 30th October. Celebrities like Alyque Padamse, Ashok Salian, Sharon Prabhakar were the judges who have criticised their performance. Choreography and grooming expert Achla Sachdev has directed the entire show.

Mr. Rajeev Ranjan was adjudged as the winner. He has got Rs. 1 Lac cheque with an opportunity in working with the future advertisement projects of Emami.


Those days are gone when beauty and fashion concepts are only restricted with girls. Now men are also getting beauty and fashion conscious.

I don’t know whether that kind of contest will make how much impact on the career of the contestant or is it a right platform to start their journey as a model or not. I hope they’ll not sparkle as firecracker like other talent hunt organized here and there. I wish the winner Rajeev Ranjan will achieve the best ground in the field of modeling and advertising media.

What i think is in today's India media is giving chances to most of amature peoples and sometimes its just luck and sometimes its the real performance.
But still becoming a model and just sticking to modeling is just not enough to earn a livelihood.
and i agree with desiman.
